Here is another miracle product from Maybelline. Wouldn’t you call it a miracle if it stayed on your lips all day... and night (in case you forgot to remove your makeup before going to bed?). It will stay on your lips (not your teeth!) for many many hours.
It is very soft, won’t cake and although it can be hard to remove it won’t stain your lips (good to know!). Just put it on, give it 10 minutes to fully set and dry down and you are ready to go. Now girls, I am personally not a fan of black lipsticks but hey, that is just me. There is a reason it made to the top best-selling lipsticks on Amazon, right? Despite this, I have to admit that super dark lipsticks, including black, look quite impressive on some ladies. It is creamy and goes on smoothly.
Although the “Maybelline New York Color Sensational Black Lipstick Matte Lipstick, Pitch Black” is a best-seller it has mixed reviews on Amazon. In my personal experience, we get what we pay for. The cheaper the product the higher chance it won’t work. That is not to say that we should avoid cheap lipsticks, it is just that the chances of being disappointed are higher. (p.s. Just think about it – even after eating, sleeping, kissing someone etc , it will still stay on your lips. Seems like a no fuss no hassle lipstick to me. No wonder it is so popular.
Those who did not like the product complained about its very rich pigmented formula that is hard to remove. It is interesting how the exact same characteristic has different effects on people. A great set of 6 colors for girls and women. It has a creamy texture, nice fragrance and lasts several hours. In terms of staying power it is definitely not like the ‘superstay’ ones described earlier, but many women do not find any problems with this. They recommend to ‘just re-apply’ it. I guess once we get spoiled with super long lasting lipsticks it becomes difficult (for some of us) to use traditional ones.

What I like about it is that it comes as a set of 1) an actual lipstick and 2) a moisturizing ‘sealer’. It may require a one-time reapplying during the day, but it is a big ‘maybe’.
